Quick Question about routers...

So Im going to go out and by a wireless router today and was just wondering if it really matters what kind, brand or quality I get?

Or if they all are pretty much the same and I should just buy whatever is cheapest?

It doesn't really matter, although I would stick with Linksys, Dlink, or Netgear.

Avoid Belkin at all costs, they are unreliable no matter what one you buy.

Yes it does matter. Are you going to be using N or a/b/g? Are you using both of those or are all devices using the same standard? It also matters if you want to do any custom settings or flash it.

If you don't know what any of those are, then just get any of them.
