    Video Game Storage ( HELP!!!)

    Ok Guys,

Let me explain my situation. I have roughly around 160+ games between 3 systems (360, PS3, and PC). I have recently developed a pretty big problem trying to store all the games AND also keep them in a decent spot where I can get to them.

I move most of my games to a storage tote, but becomes a pain in the butt to get out a game I would like to play. I have to pull out tote, remove many games to find game if it is near bottom, then again store tote itself.

I then kept out many of my most played games, but then these end up scattered around my desk area so they can be found and grabbed easy.

I recently got the idea of building some type of wall storage. I wanted to hear some guys ideas or experiences with this same kind of dilemma.

Here was my Idea Options......My only two main concerns is I want them easy to access and also want the spines of the game to be directly visible for easy finding.

    1) Build a standard case, such as this. But attached to the wall rather than free standing.

    2) Build a case similar to the above but add glass doors.

    3) Build a recessed wall storage rack similar to the above but, recessed.

I would go with option #3. It's clean and im guessing you kept all 160 games because you want to collect them. Option three with the recessed case looks the nicest and will display your collection the best.

      Option 4.........

      DVD rack

      Option 5........

One long wooden shelf hanging on the wall.

Out of the 160 games, I am sure you probably only play 10 of them on a regular basis.

You could go the route of CD Binder organized by system.

I'll suggest a compromise. Small bookshelf for those games that are in heavy rotation. And 2 CD binders for the rest: Binder one for that 2nd tier of played games and Binder 2 for those that rarely get played.

But if you're determined to build something the recessed storage will look the cleanest.

I've got #1 (free standing),now most of my stuff is stuck on the floor. That stuff fills up faster than you'd expect. Floor is getting pretty full too.
