R.I.P. to a true legend. Back in the day(before her weight gain and wacky behavior), she was one of the hottest chicks around with the dark hair and violet eyes.

"I am a very committed wife," she once said. "And I should be committed too -- for being married so many times."

        Great quote!

          R.I.P.

Can't say I've seen much of work to be honest, and that kind of surprises me.

Probably one of the first people I truly understood to be a celebrity and in the public eye.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Like I said on Twitter, I was never a big fan but she was a legend. My favorite movie she was in is GIANT.

                    R.I.P.

She was absolutely GORGEOUS in Cleopatra!

As well as most of the women back then, Rita Hayworth, Audry Hepburn (drool x 1000)... etc.

They were just gorgeous, and did not have to be slutty to turn you on.

The epitome of elegance and beauty in a woman!

Hell yeah! Even the not so classically beautiful women can look drop dead sexy. A great example is Barbara Stanwyck.

Not to mention a lot of them actually had bodies and weren't rail thin.

And I have to echo sentiments here, I haven't seen much (if any) of her work but she always seemed pretty down to earth and a compassionate person from her interviews.

I think we are missing the fact that she was a crusader against AIDS and donated a lot of time and money to the cause.

                            She will be sorely missed.
