Well now there are 10,000 Spartans. I just don't get how anyone could take them on. If no one could beat 300, there's certainly no way 10,000 Spartans (trained in the same fashion) could all be beaten. Therefore, I don't have the most sequel interest either, knowing it shouldn't be possible.

Prequel would have been the only way to go, but they've waited a long time to do that as well.

Well I think they now have 10,000 Spartans, no? They might call it 10,000 (not to be confused with the Roland Emmerich atrocity that was 10,000 B.C.).
