I would think he's going to be in the same world as The Avengers since he always was in the comics and had a strong connection with them.

Hopefully he makes an appearance in the sequel. I'm hoping for one of those end credits scenes in The Amazing Spider-Man. I'm just not sure if it's going to happen with Sony still being the ones putting out the Spider-Man movies.
He's not going to be appearing in any Marvel movies until Marvel gets the rights back, which won't be happening for awhile. It's the same reason why X-Men or anyone involved with the Fantastic Four won't show up, although Marvel is apparently optimistic that they'll be getting the Fantastic Four rights back soon.

I wonder if they will ever add other popular Avengers like Ant Man, Vision or Black Panther. I'm hoping those 3 out of the many others.

BTW any one reading the Avengers vs X-men series? Just bought the first two and like it.

I certainly hope The Vision makes it.

Then again, he has ties with a certain villian's daughter....so it'd probably be unlikely . It just wouldn't feel right by himself.

Same goes for the Black Panther. Especially with the fairly (IMO) recent development between him and a certain X-men. Same reason as above. Just wouldn't feel right.

I could see Marvel/Disney paying for the rights to use Spider-Man, some X-Men, or members of the Fantastic Four in a crossover in The Avengers. I'm not saying it will definitely happen, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility. Marvel is probably never getting the rights to the X-Men and Spider-man back for full films (the rights are in perpetuum, I believe), but they may be allowed to use the characters, for a fee.

Ant Man leads to telling Vision and Ultron story lines. Very important character.

I hope Rick Moranis doesn't end up in that movie though.

The thought os Joss Whedon directing a movie thay Spider-man is a part of has me salivating...ok not really but it would be sweet. It really is to bad Marvel doesn't have all the film rights.

I wish it would happen, I just don't know how the rights stuff work. Kevin Feige seemed to think that it would be possible to either get the rights back on some of these or have some kind of availability to Disney/Marvel so hopefully it happens. I don't know why Sony would be against letting Spider-Man show up in another movie but the rights stuff doesn't make much sense at all in general.

Robert Downey to get $50 mil. everyone else 2 to 3 mil. Iron man 3 aka Avengers.

Kind of OT, but that article mentions how Favreau planned to cut Terrence Howard's role in IM2... yet I think Rhodes ended up being a much bigger character in IM2 than he was in IM1. Maybe he changed it a bit when he got Don Cheadle. Interesting.

That's a great payout for RDJ!

Can't Marvel claim incompetence on Sony's part for doing yet another Spider-Man orign story?

Yeah, he was cutting down War Machine's part because Howard wasn't easy to work with or something.

Article could seem a little misleading, think that's talking about what the stars are getting from the gross, and its written almost like they're trying to say that's all they got for doing the movie.
