Coulson is dead.
According to the commentary the point of saying the cards were in the locker was for Agent Hill to get on board with Fury's methods of being manipulative when seeing they worked (Iron Man flies by outside right after this) though she doesn't agree with them. Not implying a faked death.

Also in the Item 47 short the boss calls the replacement Agent Coulson and says force of habit to which he replies "We all miss him." so if it was faked the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't informed and I'm guessing they would've been.

Extremely high quality picture and even better sound.

This one is a spoiler even if you've seen it (though not large if you have) as it regards deleted scenes.

If they squeezed the alternate opening in after the space thing with Loki it would've made the part near the end with Iron Man better.

Also in the alternate ending Agent Hill mentions they recorded the council giving the order to nuke NY so if they tried to come after Fury it wouldn't go well for them.
