Re: Dexter (Season 6)
Honestly I must have missed that part because the phone rang while the scene was on so my bad. I do have issue with Encyclopedia Brown bashing, he was a boy genious. I totally forgot about reading those great books when I was a kid. I think the plots of those books made more sense than some Dexter episodes. I guess you meant someone stupid like Deb (well maybe not that stupid) could have figured it out.Comment

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
LOL that's another thing I forgot to mention with the matches. Not only does he take the matches back but also decides to take a pen (I wonder if he stole some towels and ashtrays since he snuffed the owner anyways) and leave it in his bag and take it to work and have it open so Deb can non-chalently grab for it. You could see that scene coming a mile away as soon as Deb innocently asked for a pen. Instead of using it to arouse Deb's suspicion (which would have been a good opening no matter how sitcomish) they use it as another excuse to show more Deb whining.Comment

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
I was thinking the same up until the news that it was renewed for two more seasons. Now, unless Deb is going to be okay with the fact he's a serial killer, it feels like it would be far too early for her to find out. Unless they plan on a complete 180 of Deb's overdramatic character during the course of the next two seasons I don't see how that would work.

SpoilerDeb finds out Dexter "does what Dexter does" and is somewhat bothered by it, but accepts it anyways. So chances are they could go this direction with the TV show, but on the other hand, it's not like the show follows the books that much any more anyways.
The show has been extended up to an eighth season, but what I see happening is Deb finds out at the end of this season, Dexter somehow ends up becoming a target of the police at the end of Season 7, and then Season 8 is essentially Dexter on the run, and then the show ending (I'm not sure how many other ways they could end it without Dexter getting the lethal injection/electric chair treatment).
Also one thing I feel like randomly throwing out there; I still feel like we're in for another Lumen appearance at some point before the show ends. Whether that's before this season ends or not, who knows, but I just feel like there's supposed to be more from her in some way.
Another thing that makes me consider this is this whole season-long theme of light/darkness. She was originally the one who represented the possibility of someone getting rid of their Dark Passenger, the same way Travis seems to be this season. She was also the one person Dexter seemed to truly ever be able to connect with. All of the other people in Dexter's life either can't/couldn't truly know him for who he really is (Deb, Harrison, Rita, etc), couldn't fully accept what he is (Harry while he was alive), or had to be killed because they were a threat to the people Dexter cares about (Brian, Miguel, Trinity). So I don't think how Lumen's story ended last season is truly the end of her character.
Anyways, hopefully we get a good episode tonight. I wasn't too impressed last week, and we're only down to the last 4 or so.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
