I think you're right.
I ran through the entire series a couple of weeks ago and realized that the show got stupid at some point. And I think you hit the nail on the head. Additionally, never have I watched a show where I ended up hating the "good guys".Comment

The entire series is amazing. I wasn't a fan of the ending, but it's the best TV drama series I've ever seen.
This is one of the things that I think made the show so great. It wasn't your typical good guy vs. bad guy plot where the good guys are infallible in both combat and in character and the bad guys are completely bad. Every character had their own faults, except for Adama because Adama ownsAdditionally, never have I watched a show where I ended up hating the "good guys".
, and they had some redeeming qualities too. There were a few characters who I found myself liking one moment and then a few weeks later they are on my **** list. All of this made the story much more believable and anytime something happened to someone you were either really happy or really sad.

I had it up there near the top too until the point I mentioned and that seems to be the point where the executives started sticking their noses in and ruining things. Too much BS filler and idiotic storylines that completely ruined the flow of the show,Comment

I recommend watching it all the way and making up your own mind about the latter part of the series, because I completely disagree with those who feel that it went down hill at the end.Jordan Mychal Lemos

The thing is Scar is is not even half way through the series. There is a ton of intensity in the episodes right after that leading up to the season finale. I'll say that overall the final 2 seasons were not as good as the first 2, but it is still well worth watching.Comment

11 episodes in and its already in my top 5. Man, Sci Fi pumps out some good stuff. This, Eureka and Warehouse 13 are all among my favorites.Comment

One thing that made me LOL in episode 11. There is a scene in the hanger where a guy passes the camera driving a small piece of machinery. It was the EXACT same thing I was using at Lowe's earlier in the day. Just a small, stand up fork lift. They can jump through space, but haven't advanced past basic earth technology.Comment
