Need help with Router settings, Quality of Service, and Xbox Live.

In my household, we have multiple Xbox 360's that are usually playing online at the same time. Very often (I'm talking every 15 minutes here), we will both get disconnected completely from Xbox Live/internet/everything and no idea what's causing it. Both Xbox's NAT types are Open and up to this point had been working fine..

My Router is a Linksys WRT54GL running Tomato firmware v1.28.

Devices that can be on the network at any given time..
    My Computer (Wired1)
    My Laptop (Wireless1)
    My iPod Touch (Wireless2)
    My Xbox (Wired2)
    My PS3 (Wireless3)
Brother's Xbox OR Brother's Computer (Wired3) (He unplugs the ethernet and puts it in which one he wants to use)
    Mom's Laptop (Wireless4)

I need help on creating Quality of Service bandwidth percentages and rules for Tomato to achieve the following:
    1) The 2 Xbox's and PS3 get maximum speed without lagging while gaming online.. even when someone else in the house is browsing on their computers.. and to go without disconnecting every 15 minutes like it's currently doing..
    2) Brother's computer gets a smaller percentage of bandwidth since he loves to share files on Limewire even when I tell him to cut off the uploads..

Your gonna have to spend extra and get a dual band simultaneous router (one that sends out Wireless N and G at 2.5 and 5.0 GHZ, those are the best). Regardless of internet speed (from experience trying several different routers) There are just not enough settings to decrease or maximize bandwidth to certain computers with some routers. I've had this issue before and the best bet is to just pony up the cash and get the best router possible. I went ahead and got a dual band Linksys router that at the time cost $175 dollars. At this point in time it might be significantly cheaper. I no longer play video games but when I did it really helped me from getting cut off COMPLETELY.

Now for settings for the router. I tried similar setups to what you are asking for with "lesser" routers and they did not work simply because the router just could not handle splicing up all those connections.

The thing is, it worked perfectly until about a week ago. I had the QoS settings set up and my brother and I could both be playing Black Ops with no lag, mom could be on her laptop, and I could be doing random stuff on desktop.. Something has went wrong in the last week or so and I just can't fix it now. It works fine if one of us is on Xbox Live, but no more than 5 minutes after the second one gets on XBL, it will kick us both off as well as kill the internet for a few minutes.

Is it the router dropping the connections, or the modem itself?

If your service is bordering on the signal to noise operating range pushing a lot of traffic can put it over the edge. Seasonal changes can often push a perfectly working signal right to the brink of connection quality.

Have you contacted your ISP about having your connection quality tested?

Of course it's possible that your router is simply starting to fail, it sounds like you push it pretty hard.

Think I may have fixed it today..

Took brother's 360 out of DMZ. Removed all port forwarding and triggering rules. Let uPnP handle everything on it's own. Only things I set were my QoS settings where the 360's get 100% up/down speed and the computers get 1-100% (my computer is 25%-100% upload, brother's computer is 1-20% upload, mom's computer is 1-50% upload) depending on how much is being used. No disconnects at all tonight and we played Black Ops together for about 2 hours. Usually it would have disconnected 7+ times in that time.
