Does Cyberlink PowerDVD play Blu-ray discs?
To be honest, I'm not even sure what program my laptop uses.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60 -

Try using VLC Media Player. Seems to play everything.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

That used to be my standard player for everything, but I switched to The KMPlayer. It seems to handle high quality encodings better (at least on low power systems), and it has a nice look to it.
I've always found PowerDVD to be a pretty lousy application, it never sticks around long on any machine I touch.
(with a side benefit of being more compatible with my cheap-o remote)Last edited by snepp; 06-13-2011, 01:07 PM.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
