Gus's lover and what happened to the head honcho (Don Eladio played by Steven Bauer of Scarface fame). I wonder if he's still living or will they show another flashback episode to reveal his fate?

Gus's life was apparently spared because he or a connection of his was big in Chile. This flashback scene occurred in 1989. Anyone else think the DEA and Tim (Hank's cop friend) are being a little naive about Gus?

I'm guessing we haven't seen the last, as he's most likely the head of the cartel.

I hope so-he's made for that role.

One note-while being interrogated, Gus mentions a scholarship that he created and that Gale was one of the recipients of. It was named after "Maximino Arciniega", who cleverly enough was the actor who played "Krazy 8" in the first season of Breaking Bad (remember the guy chained to the pole?)

Maximino Arcinigega also becomes the name of young Gus's partner, shown by the pool with the Mexican heavy hitters.

Definitely the first episode in the past few where I did not hate her. We now have her protecting her and Walt from Ted, just as Walt has always had to protect himself and her.
