Hmmm..I see Netflix has the first 5 seasons on streaming. I haven't watched it but heard a lot of good things about it.

This show fell off like hell after S3. This was my favorite show on TV 4-5 years ago but stopped watching it after S4 I believe.

I think when they filmed last season and then edited it and everything and what not before airing it, I gather that they figured the season would move along well enough for people to enjoy the final scene payoff... I marathoned all the seasons on Netflix that were available at the time (not sure if season 5 was one of them at the time) because I went ahead and downloaded/streamed the last season of the show... I'm hoping with the 10 year "anniversary" of 9/11, and the final scene of last season that we get a nice send off for Rescue Me

Agreed. Not much happening, a lot of loooong drawn out dialogues that have pretty much been done before, and only a few funny moments here and there.
