A good little gem on Netflix. It's a Canadian TV series with a lot of heart, that might as well take place in the US MidWest. It's a family oriented show centering on two sisters (one 15, one mid 20's) who deal with life after their mother's unexpected death. The older sister temporarily uproots her successful New York business career to help out at the ranch, that comes complete with a Sam Elliot type gruffy granddad. Throw in a redemption seeking Dad that the grandfather can't stand ,the younger girl's ability to handle horses, and multi ranch politics and you have a really good show.
Netflix only shows all of the first season (13 episodes) and half of the second season (9 out of 18 episodes). DVDs are available for all of the first three seasons. The 4th season ended March 27th. The 5th season starts September 18th.
