Re: Django Unchained
Same for me. I saw it twice in...3 nights I believe and each viewing seemed to move along quite seamlessly to me and I'm not usually one whose attention can be so easily kept for such an extended period of time. For instance, I thought The Dark Knight Rises kind of dragged at parts, but not Django. I suppose it just depends what the viewer is looking for though.Comment

Re: Django Unchained
I did the same thing. 1st time by myself, the 2nd time I went with friends. The movie seemed to fly by the 2nd time. Well besides my 1 friend counting how many times they said ninja*. Then I remembered why I usually go to the movies by myself in the 1st place.Psn: Plex-07Comment

Re: Django Unchained
I'm actually really digging the soundtrack now too. I'm not usually a John Legend guy, but his track is hot.

Edit: Ha, I didn't realize I quoted you, Dookie. I must have subliminally wanted to respond to you about that part. For the record, I was okay with that scene. Actually, I didn't even see it the first time through, I was concentrating on other characters. The second time I watched it though, I was ready, then I briefly tried working out the math and angles of how such a result would have been possible. Considering everything else that happened though, it didn't phase me in the scheme of things.Last edited by VDusen04; 01-08-2013, 12:59 AM.Comment

Was it just me or did the way she flew back not seem right from the angle she was shot from. (being really vague here so I didn't think it needed spoiler tags)PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Django Unchained
This movie was so damn good. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx looked so damn badass. Kudos to the costume and makeup coordinators (or whatever the actual name of the position(s) is).
I regret Kerry Washington didnt get more screen time of her not looking in absolute despair. Just a gorgeous woman.Comment

Re: Django Unchained
Just got back from seeing the movie, and wow was it good. I know not to doubt in Tarantino, he's writing and directing ability or bar none.
I kept hearing Leo and Waltz stole the movie, they certainly did, however Jamie was no slouch either; his performance was pretty good.
The movie was just the right length to really capitalize on everything that needed to happen.
SpoilerI will admit, I wanted Waltz's character to make it through the end as well as Leo's character. But stuff has to happenComment

Re: Django Unchained
One thing about this movie I was wondering about and may have discovered:
SpoilerThe girl with the red bandanna cover her face. The camera cut to her so much I figured something of importance was going to involve her. It never came though. I read an article though and came across this:
"That leaves some unexplained characters, like that of the beautiful lady outlaw (Zoe Bell) whose face is half-covered throughout the film. (The idea there, says Davis, is that the character would drop the bandana to reveal an absent jaw.)"
Quentin Tarantino's new film Django Unchained is a big beast, but it was once bigger. The original script, widely leaked last summer, is a 166-page monster that features characters and situations that didn't make the final cut at all, and others that appear in significantly altered form. And then there's stuff in the film that…
Still not sure that'd have explained anything, but creepy nonetheless.Comment

Not sure if this was already posted but here's a little insight on one of Leo's scenes:
