    Google Music

Cool cloud-based unlimited uploading of your music library to stream through your devices or from any computer. It's in its beta phase and only through invite only.

My question is, is it a good idea to upload your entire library to Google if some of your music has come from less ethical means?

Love Google Music so far. Got it running on my Droid X and haven't had any latency issues or anything thus far. I've been very impressed!

It works well, but it takes forever to upload. I have over 20,000 songs so it couldn't even upload them all.

I'm just worried about putting stuff that I acquired through other means. Gotta do some research I guess.

How do you upload songs manually?

The Droid app is kind of "blah." I mean, its functional, but that's about it.

You can upload whatever you want to Google music.

As for manual upload, it doesn't allow you manually pick and choose folders. It doesn't make any sense. If you have all your music in one folder its not a big deal.

Yes it does. I just uploaded my Outlast music folders last night.

                      Re: Google Music

Just tried this out and I'm quite impressed by it. The HTML-5 site for my iPhone also does its job quite well. I also like the fact that they gave me a lot of free music right away.

                      I share TheMatrix31's concern though.

Still haven't found an answer about that anywhere, btw.

No need to worry about 'file sharing' or 'illegal' methods of how you got your music as the Supreme Court ruled its not illegal to download music, actually they ruled it legal to download, well same thing.

Yeah I don't know about that article. I don't think the Supreme Court ruled on such a thing, lol.

Either way, not a discussion to be had at OS.
