Re: *** Big Brother: Season 13 ***
- The whole segment on "Bookie" had me in stitches. I hate Brenchal but they're entertaining to watch in a car crash kind of way.
- LOL at Julie ambushing Danielle on live TV. Danielle should have fired back with how does it feel to know you only host the show because you sleep with the President of the Company.
- For the people that don't watch the feeds, Jeff once again proved he's a homophobe but of course since he's the golden boy of Grodner, it never made it in the episode.
- I'm rooting for Dom and Cassi. I think Shelly's going to be a pretty good player but she's boring to watch. It also appears the newbies are in trouble. Porsche has flipped and Shelly is probably just going to suck up to whoever is the HoH that week. Cassi is probably on the chopping block this week and if she or Shelly wins Veto, Dom is going to be the target.
Edit: From watching/following the feeds, Shelly has a good relationship with everybody in the house. People don't view her as a threat in the challenges and she has made an effort to get to know everybody inside the house. She's not someone I'm really rooting for but I have to tip my cap to her gameplay so far.Last edited by VanCitySportsGuy; 07-14-2011, 11:15 PM.Comment

Re: *** Big Brother: Season 13 ***
Folks we have our "Cowboy" moment of the season already. Porsche told Rachel she's going to move out to LA after the show and probably get an agent.
It always cracks me up when people think appearing on BB is going to make them a celeb
For all the newer viewers that don't get my Cowboy reference, there was a player from an earlier season that had the nickname Cowboy and he thought once the game was over, there was a chance a network would offer him a sitcom. It was funny watching this poor sap think he was actually going to be a big star after the show.Comment

The veterans or legends are really running this game already.
I cant believe the newbies have already caved to them. Keeping Porsche was a huge mistake for them. I am really enjoying the season so far. It will get really good when the two big veteran couples go after each other.
As far as Jeff and him being homophobic, it is who he is. Some people just dont like or have never been around gay people. They dont know how to deal with it. I am not saying it is right but i am sure it was the way he was brought up.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

We saw a big alliance last year (The Brigade) run the game from early in the season to all the way to end. The game becomes really boring if we know the newbies will just be picked off 1 by 1.
4 out of the 5 vets are in a relationship with each other so you know they won't flip, and there's no reason for Danielle to jump ship when they're in power.
It's unfair for past players to return unless it's going to be an all-star season. We just saw Boston Rob run the game on the last season of Survivor. Having played the game before does give you an advantage. It's even a bigger advantage when there's a big group of them. Unlike the new players, the vets don't have trust issues within their own group.Comment

At this point, it sure looks like the Vets are running the game and will just pick off the newbies 1 by 1.

I am wondering if Dick really had an emergency or told them from the beginning he only wanted to stay a week. Or if he just got in there and wanted to leave?ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: *** Big Brother: Season 13 ***
I believe Dick really did have an emergency. He loves BB and there's no way someone like him would quit. Some people have suggested he only went on the show to plug his website but Dick said if that was the reason he would have been better off staying as long as possible, which makes sense.Comment

I'm rooting hard for Adam and 13...I mean Cassi. Adam because he's almost an exact clone of my friend (seriously) and he's from NJ, and Cassi because well.....she's hot. And I want eye candy on the show for as long as possible. Lol.

Re: *** Big Brother: Season 13 ***
She's the worst winner in BB history and I wouldn't be surprised if she goes far again this season. She's not a threat in the challenges and lets Jeff do all the strategizing (just like their previous season). She's not funny in the DR and is generally a pretty nice person and isn't going to yell or start verbal fights with the other HG's. What I'm trying to say is that she's a worthless player, lol.
I don't even have anybody to root against so far. Everybody in the house is pretty nice.
It's still really early in the game, but I think we're going to look back and say bringing back 6 former players was a mistake.
I just want to see a season without any sort of gimmick (no couples, ex bf/gf, Saboteur, bringing back a player that was already voted out within the season, DNA twist, American's Player, etc...) unless it's All-Stars 2.Comment
