The dog is real (or at least a real dog that others see), the rest we don't know what is happening. Who knows if the entire world is in his head.

You should probably start watching season 1 or at least watch the last episode of season 1. It touched on what was real.

Anyone else watching the new season? It kinda sneaked up with little promotion and FX putting back to back episodes on Thursday nights out of nowhere. Louie not being on before probably has something to do with it.

Regardless, the new season is off to a great start. Not a single weak episode yet. I'd say it's been even funnier than last.

Question for those who have been watching. Am I imagining things or has the show changed a bit? Feels like they've gone away from the darker stuff a little.

This is one of my handful of (current) "Must See" shows...

I'd say the "consistency" might be tighter than in the past, but it's a pretty small sample so far...

The "tone" seems pretty much the same to me...kinda dark / twisted as per usual...

Regardless, still VERY entertaining, IMHO...

I actually feel like it's been darker. I didn't find the first week too funny because of that but last week's episodes were okay.

Honestly kinda getting bored with it. I'll still watch because it's something to watch, but eh. Didn't realize Louie doesn't come back until May 2014. Probably a good thing though, because that show didn't finish strongly last season either.

I prefer FX's fall comedy lineup anyhow given the choice.

Finally got to watch the ending (4th season got added to netflix last week) - and I hated it. The ending just seemed so rushed. I liked the pace and the reveals they had going through the first three seasons, but in watching the fourth and final season it was made painfully obvious that they had to rush the ending. They didn't even tie up all the loose ends, for instance - Amanda - why bring her back for like two scenes and then never address her again? And Ryan finally gets the girl only for her to take off with Drew again? Dumb.

Nonetheless and great show that had some great laughs.
