That last big argument when Schmidt is talking about the use of shampoo and conditioner was the winner for me.

      "You used conditioner as shampoo?"

      "What are you doing?"
"I'm squeezing the conditioner out of your hair."

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I guess I'll have to watch it again tonight On Demand, not that I mind because it was hilarious.

It's weird how I watched this show initially because of Zooey, but the dudes just keep stealing it.

Schmidt and Nick this week were freaking hilarious. Their story was so much better than the bells story, which was okay I guess.

          "Bells are not for hitting."

"Nick! Toilet situation! Code One! Water only!"

"Repeat after me: 'I am not the Chinese kid from Goonies.'"

          "IT'S NOT MY WAR!"

The Bells story wasn't that great, but it really was hilarious so the trade-off is okay with me.

Nick and Schmidt, though, their story was both hilarious and realistic. It seems like that would be common for roommates, plus the whole "success" thing of Scmidt was a nice fresh angle.

I guess that they're wanting to keep the apartment the main setting, but I hope they keep the "parading new people into the apartment randomly" at a minimum. Seeing Zooey trot in with those teenagers and bells just screamed "too much" to me. Zooey is reminding me of Mork in this show so far.

I feel like this exchange should also be mentioned, because I was in tears in a computer lab full of people because of it...

"Is this "my favorite bedspread" all over again?"
"That was a handmade gift my Nanny gave me that you spilled a pitcher of Midori Sours on. Now you bring it up like it's nothing?"
"I left you a check for $30 on your pillow. Your Nanny gave you that thing for free, so as far as I'm concerned, you're up 30 bucks."
"My Nanny is dead! I'm not looking to make money off of her!"
"I will not apologize again for the Midori sours!"
              "Who drinks Midori sours?!"
              "You drink Midori sours!"
              "No I don't!"
              "It's a melon liqueur!"
              "I would never drink that!"
"It's an American classic with Asian influences!"

The hair conditioner scene was hilarious. Couldn't stop laughing at that and the Goonies reference was hilarious. Those little sneaky lines like that make me love this show.

Lotus berry relax. Lotus berry relax!

Schmidt's line at the beginning about the punishment from a "creative judge" was probably my favorite line, though.

I also thought the soap dispenser was a nice touch.

It was very Janet Snakehole. I don't know if you watch Parks and Rec, but if you do you'll get that.
