SyFy's new baby: ALPHAS...for the HEROES fix

"Alphas follows a team of ordinary citizens whose brain anomalies imbue them with extraordinary mental and physical abilities. Taking the law into their own hands, the unlikely team, led by Dr. Lee Rosen (Strathairn), investigates cases that suggest other Alpha activity to uncover what the CIA, FBI and Pentagon have not been able, or willing, to solve. These gifted individuals must balance their quirky personalities and disparate backgrounds with their not always visible powers as they work to solve crimes, stop the ticking time bomb and catch the enemy."

Show can be watched for free at Amazon.com
    http://www.amazon.com/Alphas-Pilot/dp/B005C9DSNA

It's pretty good for a pilot episode. Much better than No Ordinary Family, The Cape...and a better start IMHO than HEROES.

Are there any replays of the pilot besides watching it on Amazon.com?

Alphas is Syfy's Most-Watched Debut In Two Years

Sparked by [b]Alphas – the most watched Syfy series debut since 2009 [b]– the channel’s powerful new Monday night scripted programming block of Eureka, Warehouse 13 and Alphas each delivered more than two million total viewers from 8-11:30PM (ET/PT) on July 11. This marked Syfy’s highest Monday time period audience for scripted series in over 10 years.

At 10PM Alphas found 2.5 million total viewers, 1.2 million Adults 18-49 and 1.3 million Adults 25-54 along with a 1.84 HH rating, the top-rated series premiere since Warehouse 13 debuted in July 2009, the same night Syfy launched its new brand evolution.

From 9-10PM, the season three premiere of Warehouse 13 snagged, bagged and tagged 2.3 million total viewers, 1.0 million Adults 18-49 and 1.2 million Adults 25-54 with a 1.74 HH rating.

Eureka’s season 4.5 return kicked off the night at 8PM by grabbing 2.0 million total viewers, 893,000 Adults 18-49 and 987,000 Adults 25-54, while averaging a 1.5 HH rating.
God I hope people keep watching the show. It's average show so far, but I think it has the potential to be just as well written and acted as Heroes, with even better direction for the main characters.

Good cast, decent acting...interesting premise (how their powers have drawbacks).

OK writers and producers. It's up to you to keep viewers coming back. If you hook em you could have yourself the next Spartacus.

How can someone with enhanced senses not be able to sense someone sneaking up behind her?
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                          Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
                          Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

                          Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

                            You know that...

                            1) she can only use one enhanced sense at a time.
                            2) when she uses it the other senses go completely dead.

If she's using superman vision, she's deaf as a doornail.

Yea, that was explained multiple times. She can only use one super sense at a time and they aren't active all the time.
