Blu-ray player with streaming from PC?

I'm looking to get a blu-ray player for my bedroom that can stream from a PC (divx type streaming), as well as netflix and all the other stuff.

I'd rather not spend a ton of cash since it's just for the bedroom, but want something that isn't crap either. Any suggestions? Finally got fed up with the laptop I'd been using with that tv and need to get something reliable.

Other than a PS3, I'm not sure one is made. I think you are looking for a certified DLNA device. There are obviously BD players that can do Netflix, etc. and there are stand alone DLNA devices, like Roku, AppleTV, WD, etc., though they do not play BD's. You may want to get a BD Player with streaming capability and add something like one of those devices, combined might cost you under $200, unless you can find a used PS3 for under that.

I also posted a thread about this device a bit ago: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...teresting.html

Thanks for your input. I ended up getting a Sony 3D Bluray player with WiFi for 170. It's got netflix, a bunch of other internet connected apps, as well as being a DLNA device.

I was able to pretty easily set it up so it works like my PS3 and 360, seems to be working great!

I thought about another PS3, but that was overkill for the bedroom. This was cheaper and does all I need, and the fan's probably quieter than a PS3.
