Marvel movies that should be made... but probably won't....

Was rifling through my old collection and came across this cover that will make it into my poster collages. Always loved The Inhumans when they made a guest appearance and the crossover in the FF series was always welcomed. Certainly would need "screen friendly" costumes, but would love to see an Inhumans movie.

I would like to see a Luke Cage movie and a PROPER Howard the Duck film though the first on screen iteration probably turned that property to radioactive waste.

I think the problem with Luke Cage, Power Man would be the name as well since then, the public has had Jax from Mortal Combat and Hancock.

They could do it up as Marvel meets blaxploitation which was the M.O. of the original Luke Cage stories back in the '70s when he was the "Hero For Hire". I don't know how that would play on the big screen today though....

Some of the 70s Luke Cage comics are classic. As I recall, one 2-issue arc involved Cage getting hired by Dr. Doom as a bodyguard (for 200 bucks!) while in the States. Doom skips the country without paying, so a furious Cage tracks him down in Latveria and lays a beatdown on him until Doom coughs up the dough. Sweet Christmas!

A movie adaptation of the Secret War. That would probably be the most expensive movie ever but I'm still surprised that they're actually able to make an Avengers movie so who knows. I also want to see another Blade trilogy done entirely by Guillermo Del Toro, the 2nd Blade is still one of my favorite movies ever.

+1 on Secret Wars and I'd like to throw Infinity Gauntlet out there as well. I know there is no way it'd become a live action movie but I am more than willing to have this and a lot of stories in animated form. I would prefer it that way actually.

If its Pixar or not, I'm hoping Disney does something soon with the best cgi in the market.

Personally I think the Punisher is a pretty boring character for a movie, he's a vigilante with a bunch of guns and movies about vigilantes with guns are a dime a dozen.

I'd like to see Apocalypse drawn out into a trilogy, albeit with a few changes in storyline. First one do origin, acquiring alien tech, eventually have Legion coming back through time and convincing Apocalypse to kill Magneto (rather than doing it himself), end with Apocalypse killing Professor X. Second is Apocalypse ravaging the world and resistance forming to stop him, end with Cable showing up saying that the reality was altered. Final movie have the resistance infiltrating Apocalypse's stronghold to use his technology to send Cable back in time (instead of the crystal, whatever it's called), Cable succeeds in going back in time and movie ends like the comics with Magneto ripping Apocalypse in half and hoping Cable succeeds as the world is obliterated.

Dr. Strange movie would also be a cool one.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the first Punisher movie *or at least the one with John Travolta, don't know if that is the first one...*

The one they did after that...yeah, that movie sucked.

That's the 2nd one I believe, Dolph Lundgren was The Punisher first.

I'd love to see a movie/arc done on the Marvel Civil War/Registration act. Never would get done though.

I agree on the Surfer/Galactus story too, hopefully the Fantastic Four reboot touches on it and Galactus isn't a ****ing cloud this time.

I think the Punisher Max work of Garth Ennis would be perfect background for a movie but the problem is, it's so graphic and at times deals with some stuff that would be very tough to translate onto the screen without ethics groups going nuts.

BTW I'd also like to see a proper FF film with Galactus not being a friggin cloud.
