    Without DirecTV, any other way...

to watch the Cowboys from the comfort of my home? I live in a condo and seems I am the only DirecTV customer and the dish has problems. So I been waiting on having tech. support come out in the bldg. cause I been told I may no longer be able to have DirecTV.
If that is the case, what other ways can I watch my Boys without going to a bar and can be in the comfort of my own house? I am so bummed right now if I have to go with another provider. And no I don't want to move, cause I got a great deal and I like my condo.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated? Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

Someone posted in another forum to just wire your friend the money for the Super Ticket to Go $$99. My buddy has DirecTV and the football package. So I can just use his account online to watch the games and Slingbox it to my TV via a wireless connection.

Yeah you can do the online option from DTV, but you have to have an account and have NFLST.

The only issue you will have is that it will blackout games that are on locally. Sometimes it worked and sometimes games weren't blacked out. So just make sure the person lives in the same TV market as you, so if the game is blacked out, it will be on local tv.

What issues are you having with the dish and who told you that you no longer be able to have DTV?

I hope you find a way man. I have worked every angle and I am no closer.

I had to switch to DishNetwork last summer because my scheme for getting local channels was falling through. I still for the life of me can't understand why DishNetwork has like a jillion city choices for your local but Directv has so very few.

        I miss Directv.

For Slingbox, that might not be a good option. If he or someone else in his house wants to watch tv on that receiver while you are watching a game, they can change the channel. You have to watch the same thing. With the NFLST TOGO you can watch the games on your computer and the speed and resolution will be a lot better than through a Slingbox. Slingbox is going to depend on the upload speed and your download speed, its not going to look great while the DTV online is going to look a lot better.

I have both and always watch on the DTV app on my phone because it only relies on my download speed.
