The JAWS episode was unreal. That Shark that was stuck on top of the cage was HUGE. 18 ft.

I sure wouldn't have got in a flimsy cage with an 18 footer weighing over 2 tons too much that could go wrong. Reminded me of Hooper in Jaws when he was in the cage. I believe they said in the episode the record size for a great white is 21 feet which ain't too far off Jaws which was 25.

This is why I HATE shark week. That and my Facebook feed is nothing except people freaking out about it. I'll get hyped when we get some Planet Earth type footage of sharks.

I have loved shark week and oddly, it has become a sort of pop culture phenomenon. But, as has been previously posted, it is becoming stale with little new content.

Agreed, but watch "Jaws comes Home", by far the best content that Shark Week has ever produced. You get to see White Sharks they way they used to be seen. HUUUUUGGGEEE.
