I know a lot of members here are strictly for using the keyboard and mouse while playing FPS games on the PC, but I recently bought one of these receivers and connected a wireless Xbox controller to my PC.

Once I connected it and pressed the center X button on the controller it was ready to go. I run Windows 7 by the way.
I also have my PC connected to my 52' plasma TV which is across the room so using a mouse and keyboard would be difficult.
IMO it has brought PC gaming to a new level for me as I am now able to really relax and kick back on the sofa or whatever when gaming. Some of you may have heard of these or even currently use them but I just thought I would share this info.
