    ABC's Shark Tank

Does anyone watch this show? I just discovered it last night and I'm addicted!

Aspiring entrepreneurs in need of capital bring their business idea to five investors (The Sharks) and will consider investing in your company for an equity stake in the business. People have amazing ideas and as someone who desires to run my own business, this kinda feeds into that passion.

For the most part, The Sharks are the same 5 people, but there have been episodes with Mark Cuban, Jeff Foxworthy etc. Check it out sometime!

I've been watching this since it started coming on(I think I missed the first episode) and like you am hooked! Hands down my favorite show on TV right now. If you haven't watched it you are missing out.

I think the only episodes I didn't care for som much were the couple with Jeff Fowworthy. He just didn't seem to fit. Now the Cuban episodes on the other hand were great. It was fun to see Cuban bully around the other Sharks with his over sized wallet.

Also love this show. I just wish it wasn't buried on Friday nights. However this Hulu page has every episode from this season and a couple from last season too if you need to catch up.

EDIT: Some are Hulu Plus, just saw that, but there are some that are still free

Only thing I don't like about the show is at times the sharks completely abuse the lack of knowledge of these aspiring business people and totally take advantage of them.

Like the Plush Toy gal from last night that gave up 605 of her company on Damon's first offer. She didn't even counter. Guess it better than going belly up.

I prefer the Canadian version (Dragon's Den) but Kevin O'Leary is just as much (if not more) of an a-hole on the American version than he is in Canada. The guy really manipulates people and treats them like crap. I think he likes that image of himself though.

The guy has a bit of a following here in this country as he does a daily business oriented show on the CBC with Amanda Lang which can be a bit feisty at times. he's apparently not all that respected in the business world.

thats what happens in real life. but these investors are top notch so even if they rip you on % you still make more money than you would on your own because the company makes more money. and a lot of these people are on their last resort they have been turned down by other investors and bank loans.

No doubt. A "bad" deal with the Sharks is much better than most of these guys could do on their own.

Absolutely. If the sharks feel like a business really has potential, their trying to make the most money possible. I'd rather take a deal with them because you know they will see that the company grows because their investment is tied up in it.

Starting watching this less than a week ago. I've watched all of season 1 and 3 and up to episode 9 of season 4.

It has become one of my favorite TV shows of alltime.

Yeah, I still watch it. Awesome show that seems to get better each season. I also love the "check ins" on prior businesses that got deals.

Just got into this last year and really enjoy it. I'm still bummed no one helped DDP out with DDP Yoga, but looks like he's doing OK on his own.

Yeah, but O'Leary is an essential part of the show, and he's not unlikeable. I saw the first two episodes of the Canadian version of Dragon's Den on YouTube and I prefer SharkTank but that's a small sampling. I'm going to watch some more. I wish it was being streamed by one of the majors.

I'm glad to say I own the BevBuckle. Although it's kind of crappy. You can't fit a can in there with a koozie on it. Was more a novelty for a music festival I went to.
