Yeah it's most likely a joke. Carrey is known for never being serious about anything, and sometimes that results in making moderately creepy videos.

This has to be related to some encounter they had with Carrey spoofing her in some way. It's not belly-aching funny, but it's not creepy.... because it's not authentic. Jeez.... see it for what it's worth.

I'll be honest, I saw a little something in her when she was in Zombieland (I guess I kind of like it when girls go for the goth/punk rock look)... but I don't understand the overall appeal that the masses have been giving her. I like her "down-to-earth" personality that she seems to have, but by looks alone, I'm not placing her on the top of any of my lists.
