Thought Person Of Interest was very good. Then watched the first 2 minutes of Up All Night and deleted it from my recordings. Terrible!Comment

Person Of Interest was very good. A strong cast with a interesting premise.
All these negative reviews have me thinking about deleting Whitney off of the DVR. The new comedies this fall have been decent at best. Only one that really stands out for me is Free Agents. The 2nd episode of up all was okay , so I'll give it one more episode. 2 Broke Girls was decent enough to fall under the on more episode category too.Last edited by areobee401; 09-22-2011, 11:22 PM.Comment

Re: Fall TV Lineup - What will you be watching?
I have catching up to do, but I liked the second episode of Up All Night.
(Still need to see Whitney - which started to look awful with every new preview I saw - the second episode of Free Agents - which I saw five minutes of and really liked - and Persons of Interest - which I just know I'm going to love. There's also Revenge. I watched the first 10 minutes but decided to leave it for later).
Up All Night isn't funny. I did find the moment when the cops called hilarious, but that was the only time I burst out laughing. It seems more like a drama to me, which is okay.
Again, though, they seem to only have one story line: Parents want to go out and they hire a babysitter. Two episodes. 2 for 2 on that. That's going to get old real quick."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I watched Whitney with the wife earlier today. Not majorly hilarious but I liked it well enough. Probably more than most guys in the thread looks like, but we've liked sitcoms other people thought were **** before. We'll both keep watching for a while.
I still need to watch Person of Interest, its been one of the ones I was looking forward to since it was announced.
But tonight, FRINGE. WHERE IS PETER BISHOP.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Still not sure about Up All Night. Liked the first episode, haven't seen the 2nd yet. Like someone said it could get old quick.
Also watching Parenthood, Modern Family, the Office, The Sing-Off, and as always Jimmy Fallon. My wife thinks I'll like Person of Interest. idk.NOW PLAYING: Battlefield 3, MLB 12 The Show
