it's amazing how many shows get picked up for network tv only to get cancelled when they would obviously do better on cable.Comment

So the two expected to go are gone.
Meanwhile New Girl is first network sitcom in 20 years to win adults 18-49 in first three weeks.
Also Revenge held pretty steady (this matters to me because I like the show).

So it's looking like How To Be A Gentleman may be canceled quickly. It didn't do horrible...by NBC standards. Unfortunately, it's on America's Most Watched network where all shows at the bottom of its ratings get the axe.
My next guess is Ringer gets a chance to play out its run but won't get a full season. It's horrible on ratings even for CW.

I still need to catch up on the latest episode. Hoping to do that later tonight. AV Club and IGN both gave pretty positive reviews, so I'm excited to see it.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

So after a few weeks of the new fall season I personally think Person Of Interest and Unforgettable are the 2 best shows. 2 Broke Girls started well but last night's episode was really lame. I'll give this a couple of more weeks to improve or it is going.Comment

Really disappointing to see that Person of Interest isn't doing well in the ratings.
I wonder if it's too different for the CBS procedural crowd."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. So happy that Home Improvement is back on, well it is called Last Man Standing now. It's not exactly the same but it is similar. This time Tim Allen is in a house of girls rather than boys and expresses his frustrations at home through a Wilderness Store video blog rather than a monologue during Tool Time. Anyway I thought it was a good show, definitely my kind of classic sitcom.

Watching it now. Love the first 10 minutes. Hilarious! Love traditional sitcoms like this, without the trendy documentary-style shots and whatnot.Comment
