Is 'The Comeback Kid' the last episode of S4 ? It was a weird way of ending the season, if so..

Also, is there any word on it returning for a 5th season ? This has become one of my favorite shows to watch.
No, its not the last episode of season 4. They have at least 3 scheduled the next three weeks without a break. ( "Campaign Ad", "Bowling for Votes", and "Operation Ann"**). That would bring the season 4 episode total to 14-no telling how many more they will add.

    Spoiler

**speaking of which I'd like to operate on Ann.

There will be 22 episodes in the fourth season, so we're only halfway through the season, there are 11 episodes left.

I'm glad to hear, as well.

I thought that would have been an awfully short season, considering the recent trend of getting into the 20 + episode range.

This show is awesome and I'm hoping they continue to update the web site, just in case I can't be home to catch the new episodes.

Yeah, I didn't know what to expect. The first season was just an introductory one so they just had a handful of episodes. Season 2 had a humongous 30, but Season 3 only had 16. Was there a reason for only 16?

I think Season 3 was a midseason start, like 30 Rock this year.

So, was the show taking some sort of break ?

I'm a little out of the loop, because I've never watched it on a weekly basis. I had to play catchup on Netflix and then on the NBC website.

Either way, I'm just glad the season is continuing..

They didnt have an open time slot/they were trying out other shows.

NBC's blind faith in that piece of **** "Outsourced" happened.

How anybody thought that horrible show would be successful is... nope. It's NBC. I'm actually not surprised.

30 Rock started at mid season to accommodate Tina Fey's pregnancy.

P&R took a long holiday break if that's what your asking. Episode #10 of this (the 4th) season aired December 8th.

LOL, somebody on this board gave me that info a while back when I suggested the 30 Rock ratings might have something to do with it's mid season start.

Yeah, NBC does make some questionable decisions.

Didn't they cancel Community mid season ?

Hey don't be too upset, if Parks and Rec had ended up at the 10:30 time slot, we might not be watching it anymore.

Sadly, this is another great NBC comedy (30 Rock and Community) that gets pretty low ratings.

No, Community is not canceled. It will replace a show sometime this spring (won't be on Thursday anymore however).
