Boss (Starz show starring Kelsey Grammer)

Has anyone checked this program out yet? The initial episode is streaming for free on the Starz website despite not premiering until Friday and I thought it was exceptionally well done. I'm a huge fan of Kelsey Grammer and I thought he was just fantastic in this show and definitely showed a different side from his sitcom past.

I bumped into production of this show all summer so thats the only reason I want to check it out. Local paper here gave it semi-decent reviews.

Just read a review from my phone and it was very positive. Intriguing that he plays the mayor of Chicago, but I don't know how I feel about him having Lewy Body disease, (related to both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases).

I don't even know if I get Starz, but will give it a try if I do.

I'll have to check this out somehow. Is he basically a Mayor Daley type character or do you think he'll be his "own" man so to speak?

The review characterized him as a mayor in the mold of Daley (the original, not his son).

When I first starting the review about Grammer as a mayor, I starting thinking of rumors of his own real life political ambitions, and the fact that he is one of the few "right leaning" actors.

Pretty damn bad ***.

The scene where Grammer blows up in his office was AWESOME.

I didn't make it through the entire episode. I liked Grammer but couldn't care less about anything actually going on. I made it about halfway through and it felt like I had been watching for an hour and a half.

I just finished Season 1. Wow. Very, very good IMO. Intense, amazing acting, very well-written. Damn.

Season 2 started last night, have to acquire and watch it.

Started the first season on Friday and finished it this morning.

I'm sold. GREAT show.
