I know the 3DS just had a price drop, but I'm hoping for a bundle or sale for it on Black Friday. Anyone hear or think that there's a chance?

I'm in the same boat. I'm right around 300 blus (150+ reds) I've been spoiled by the 5 for $20 blockbuster blu rays all year. Black Friday pricing won't be better than $4 a flick.
Hoping to find Tranformers 3 and How To Train Your Dragon for $10-12. Also need to get the Star Wars Original Trilogy.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 10-22-2011, 05:55 PM.Comment

Re: The too early Black Friday thread
I highly recommend grabbing the complete saga box set. Not only do you get all three discs worth of special features (there are ZERO special features on the separate trilogy box sets) but Revenge of the Sith is a downright reference quality transfer that needs to be owned by any videophile.Comment

Re: The too early Black Friday thread
Not sure what I want/need as most of the games/Blu Rays I want I'll be probably getting from others for Xmas. Trying to save $$ for a car so all I'll get for myself will be any good deal on clothes or Blu rays if I choose to go shoppingSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Amazon (for new), gohastings.com (for used), local blockbuster (new and used...bought at least 50 during the 5 for $20 used sale)
Walmart and Target now have a pretty good selection of $5 blus. I just picked up Bad Santa at Target. Apparently, Walmart has also started a $8 bin.Comment

We're starting the week off in a good way as we have just posted the BJ's Wholesale Black Friday advertisement listing and its 17-page advertisement scan.
While the ad may look more like a coupon book than a traditional advertisement, there are quite a few good deals to be had. Examples include a Sansui 32" 720p LCD HDTV for $210 and a Vizio 47" 1080p LCD HDTV for $489.99. Also note that the final page of the ad features online-only deals that begin Wednesday, November 23.

Re: The too early Black Friday thread
I've had really good success on eBay. I usually buy 3-4 at a time so shipping is kept reasonable if you find the right person. I had a seller for a while that had newer movies used for $6-$8. I didn't ask where they came from. I usually only buy movies I like so if I can find it for under $10 I jump on it. Just make sure they aren't being sneaky and just selling the case. I almost bought the case for Toy Story for $4 lol.Comment
