    DirecTV v. Fox

Hadn't seen a thread for this yet.

On November 1 DirecTV customers will lose FX, FOX Regional Sports Networks, SPEED, National Geographic Channel, FOX Soccer, FOX Soccer Plus, FOX Deportes, FUEL TV and FOX Movie Channel. Then later on you local Fox station.

Both parties are guilty. What Fox doesn't mention is that they did this with Dish Network last year. I have DTV, but it's not that big of a deal to me to where I would want to go through the mess with switching. I can watch my FX shows online. Gonna have to hook my laptop up to the TV for Texas v. Texas Tech the 5th.

It's also funny that DirecTV is the main sponsor for the World Series...on Fox...

FOX is also doing the same thing with Dish right now for some other FOX channels. I don't want to lose FX, but I guess I can deal with it if it keeps the bill from going up. Not all the Regional FOX Sports will go away, but most of them don't have anything on right now anyways.

I haven't seen or read anything about Dish lately. We went through this last year, and they pulled all those channels for a good long while. So know that Fox doesn't **** around.

Some local FOX stations are negotiating contracts, if you haven't seen anything, then it shouldn't effect you.

My only opinion on this crap is just let me go ale cart on my cable/dish. I get tired of and hate reading these stories. All it is is greed on both parties.

Edit- I am a Directv customer btw

Which is why I am just fine using alternative methods to watch my shows if needed.

Fox is really out of touch with reality right now. This is also the same network who decided it was a good idea to make you wait 8 freakin days for new episodes to go online. Even though they offer no sort of replay through out the week for shows on the main Fox channel.

I think we went a couple months or so without all the channels they're threatening to take from you now. It sucked.
