I thought it ended up just being two weeks? With it being football season I expect a lot of extra calls since FSN and FX carry games.

On a side note our local CBS station (New Orleans) has not reached an agreement with Direct TV. On Tuesday, November 1st CBS will not be available on Direct TV without that agreement.

Not sure how that works. If your TV set is cable ready couldn't you pick up the basic digital signal that would include CBS?

Not sure I follow. You would have to pay for cable to get that signal.

You might want to call DTV can see if you can get the AM21 for free. You can then hook the rabbit ears up and record/watch just like you are getting the channel from DTV. If you have an HR24, you already have it built in.

I'm talking about what is available for non cable paying customers since the conversion from analog to digital.

Ah I didn't know you could get analog cable for free still. If you want HD though, you can get it over the air for free too.

I tried, they didn't budge and I'm stuck with my HR23.

I wonder if this will affect the Redzone channel on DTV too? Since they would be showing games on Fox. I guess it might just be like ESPN showing highlights from games on Fox.
