Fox has a history of murdering great comedy shows (ILC & Marting, most notably).

ILC was a classic. Just let it go.

They should just let it be, but I'm kind of okay with this since Keenan is behind it again and they're only doing those 2 specials first before they do a full season.

Hard to believe they'll be able to top the original. I used to watch re-runs of it all the time.

I loved the original run of ILC, don't get me wrong. But someone should tell these execs that the whole remake/reboot/sequel craze sweeping Hollywood is TIRED, and sooner or later, it's going to fail completely. Ever wonder what happened to the much-hyped reboot of "Charlie's Angels" on ABC? The "Knight Rider", "V" and "Bionic Woman" reboots? Heck, the only successful reboot I've seen on TV (besides "Reboot" itself, of course) was "Battlestar Galactica" which is pretty much the measuring stick of any rebooted/remade franchise.

Pretty soon, this failure is going to spread to the film industry and they'll scramble to find new and more gimmicky ways ("4D", anyone?) to put people's butts in seats. In the words of the late, great Owen Hart..."enough is enough and it's time for a change!"

They can't pull off the stunts they did back then right now....

Damon even had a un-sensored sketch comedy show on showtime and that didn't even do well..

Only way this work is if they cast great comics (like they had in the 90's) and with Damon Waynes Jr most likely being cast in, Im assuming not...
