Time to get off the Olivia Wilde Bandwagon?

Hollywood has been pushing her as the new "It" girl since 2010. She had a big article in the NYT a couple of months ago.

Tron under-performed. This year, she already has 3 flops (Cowboys & Aliens, The Change Up, and In Time).

While she is attractive, she's displayed a limited amount of acting range. I think she's going to regret passing on the Linda Lovelace biopic.

Vulture needs to do one of those up/down/neutral stock articles on her.

I think she's pretty overrated in terms of looks.

Now, obviously she's hot and I wouldn't kick her out of bed, but there are a lot more attractive actresses out there IMO. I just never really got the appeal of her.

Was there ever a bandwagon because people thought she was a particularly talented actress?

I was pretty sure people just liked her because she's hot.

I thought Cuddy was hotter and she's got to be at least 10 years older.

I hope she's kicked off the bandwagon soon, at least for her cinema run. I hate that her character is continually being written off House episodes!

Wikipedia has Lisa Edelstein at 44. Olivia Wilde is 27.

Sports Night ruined her attractiveness for me

I was trying to find a comp for Olivia Wilde and came up with Jessica Alba. Alba has limited range but got by on her looks. After Honey exploded, the offers were rolling in. Unlike Wilde, Alba actually had success with Sin City, Fantastic Four, and Good Luck Chuck.

The thing that's scary for most females is that your career basically ends in your 30's. Hollywood is sexist and ageist.

How many females 40 and over get top billing in movies (excluding chick flicks)? I can only think of Sandra Bullock.
