She's starring in Carnage which is directed by Roman Polanski.

Still a top billed leading actress who can carry a movie.

Never one to shy away from controversy.

Yeah, I have to see it. Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and John C. Reilly, plus a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Wow The Beaver did only $970,000 in the US? They showed it at four theaters?

Add me to the list of people who still have no idea who she is, even after seeing the picture.

Personally I cant stand her, even on House.

I think you need to add Diane Keaton to the list too. I'm not sure which movie my wife was watching but she was a female actress with another actor recently.

Edit- Morning Glory with Harrison Ford. Actually, that movie has Rachael McAdams as the lead actress, but in 2012 Diane Keaton is the leading actress in Darling Companion. Lead actor is Kevin Kline with Diane Wiest(age 63) in a supporting role.

I think it should include if they receive the same amount of screen time as the lead actor. They are still carrying half of a movie. I think the opposite is true, too, though. It's difficult to find female actresses over the age of 40 to carry a movie, but it's difficult to find a actor over the age of 40 to carry a film too. I'd have a hard time listing 10.

                    I'd say Annette Benning too.

Why she's hot: She was just nominated for a Best Actress Oscar (and won a Golden Globe) for her role in the 2010 drama 'The Kids Are All Right,' arguably her finest work ever.

Up next: She stars with Anthony Hopkins and Andy Garcia in the Garcia-directed and co-written drama 'Hemingway & Fuentes,' about the friendship that inspired Ernest Hemingway's 'The Old Man and the Sea,' as well as the Rob Reiner-directed dramedy 'The Third Act,' with Morgan Freeman.
