Ive seen the trailer a bunch, and with a bunch of people, eveyone always says the same thing " Why is his kid indian in the movie" which was my first reaction too.

I didn't know Adam Sandler was so unpopular. This movie might not be good but I love most of his stuff.

Sandler hasn't made or starred in a good movie since Big Daddy. Don't know why everything fell off after that.

Now that I don't really agree with.

Punch Drunk Love, Mr. Deeds, Anger Management, Click, 50 First Dates, I Know Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and Spanglish are all solid-to-good type movies.

There have been some big stinkers, though, after Big Daddy - that I agree with.

Punch Drunk Love, Mr. Deeds, Anger Management, Click, 50 First Dates, I Know Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and Spanglish are all solid-to-good type movies.

There have been some big stinkers, though, after Big Daddy - that I agree with.

I guess I mean those arent "Sandler" movies the way Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Wedding Singer, Waterboy, are.

Hated Chuck/Larry though. Almost walked out of that ****.

Apparently the movie's popularity is on the upswing as it goes up to 3% (2 out of 60).

Obviously, neither is "tumbling down". Very promising trend.

This is how I see him and I am only going to list films in which he has the lead role in.

These are based on a 5 star scale:

Billy Madison - *** stars - still a solid comedy to this day.
Happy Gilmore - ***1/2 stars - my favorite of his comedy films.
Bulletproof - **1/2 stars - a solid buddy movie but that's it.
The Wedding Singer - *** stars - has held up better than I thought.
The Waterboy - ** stars - decent, but overrated.
Big Daddy - **1/2 stars - funny, but forgettable.
Little Nicky - **1/2 stars - see Big Daddy.
Punch-Drunk Love - ****1/2 - by far the best film he has been in.
Mr. Deeds - **1/2 - funny, but not a big fan of remakes.
Anger Management - **1/2 - see Big Daddy and Little Nicky.
50 First Dates - *** - I enjoyed the originality.
Spanglish - N/A - I have never seen it.
The Longest Yard - *1/2 - just a shameful remake of an excellent original.
Click - N/A - I have never seen it.
Reign Over Me - **** - easily the second best film he has been in, his monologue is his best scene ever.
I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry - *1/2 - a few funny moments, otherwise crap.

These past few years have been pretty terrible when it comes to watchable movies he's made, and this is coming from a huge, huge fan. I haven't even bothered to check out Just Go With It, Grown Ups, and I doubt I'll be checking this out either. You Don't Mess With The Zohan was terrible, and Chuck and Larry was pretty bad as well.

Funny People was the last good movie Sandler's done, and it's very underrated I think. I actually think it's one of his better movies and I've been trying to find it on DVD for the past couple of weeks.

As for the rest of the movies, they're all still completely watchable and good movies to me. I still do need to see Punch Drunk Love, Spanglish and Reign Over Me from beginning to end though since I've only seen parts of them.

Also, I won't defend Little Nicky in terms of quality, but that **** is still funny to me.

I enjoyed both Click and Spanglish, and would give them each 3*s. As for the rest of those that I have seen, I pretty much agree with your sentiments, with only a few discrepancies.
