Saw VIII (Jigsaw)

Take it for what it's worth, but in due time, it appears this film will come out in some way or another.

Maybe it will be a sequel, prequel, remake, or reboot... whatever it is, the franchise has not yet died.

At this point, I'm just pretty angry at the direction they took it, knowing they can't really go back (not only in terms of story, but also in overall direction and production). Saw 3D was the mother of all disasters on film, just a slight notch behind Saw IV.

I think only about three of us on this forum even care about this franchise anymore, let alone have watched all of them.

If they make one more and it finishes off the story, I am all for it. I didn't feel like Saw VII really brought any closure to the overall story for me. Bring on one more, just finish it up this time.

Don't worry, I know the thing(s) wrong with that statement.

If they make one more and it finishes off the story, I am all for it. I didn't feel like Saw VII really brought any closure to the overall story for me. Bring on one more, just finish it up this time.

LOL I always wish they went with my Saw VII script I finished three days after Saw VI came out. At least that baby had closure.

I think after Saw VII, I had finally had it with the series. That was the biggest disappointment of the entire series. More so than the cluster**** that was Saw IV. Plain and simple, in hindsight the series should have been a trilogy with the rumored prequel or whatever following that to clear wrap things up. I won't even give a Saw VIII a chance sadly.

I don't think I've seen Saw 6 or 7. Nor care to. All of them have sucked since Saw 1.

Box office was poor the last few movies as well, not really sure why keep pushing them out all the time.

The last Saw I watched was Saw 3. The only plot I remember is Saw 1.

I liked saw IV.....hated Saw V. I also liked the last one. I'm a sucker for these movies and accept them for what they are. I'll go see this one, regardless if it looks like crap or not.

after the story got a little over convoluted (THREE DISCIPLES? REALLY???) i stopped enjoying the films and just watched to see the finish of the story.


Sigh. what can they possibly do with this one.

Zepp (Michael Emerson's character) kills him near the end of the first movie, when they are fighting it out in the sewers. He dies of a gunshot to the chest/heart area.
