Re: Blu-ray players
I still say the PS3 is the biggest bang for the buck. Free built in wireless streaming over PSN. You can use neflix, nhl center ice, mlb TV, nfl sunday ticket etc... (with your subscription to each of course) You get a good 3D blu-ray player and a 3D gaming system for $249Comment

Re: Blu-ray players
I have this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMP-...4057074&sr=8-1
It's been great! I love the two HDMI outputs (one for lossless audio, the other for 3D), it's very quiet, and the Wi-Fi is great. I've been using Pandora a great deal with no hitches.
Do I need two HDMI ports to get both 3D and lossless audio at the same time? Meaning, one HMDI goes to the receiver while the other HDMI goes to the TV. It can't just be HDMI to receiver then receiver to TV?Comment

Re: Blu-ray players
I'm thinking of getting the 210 version of this but I'm a bit confused on the whole 3D/Lossless audio part.

The 210 is a great machine, but the Pannys have a slight bug with Netflix. With Netflix every so often you get a flicker on the screen and Panasonic still hasn't fixed this yet. The 210 streams very well and I've streamed several movies/shows to test it out. I go back to the PS3 just for the fact with that stupid flicker.Last edited by CaptainZombie; 12-20-2011, 10:04 AM.Comment

Re: Blu-ray players
If your receiver is HDMI 1.4 compliant you only use one HDMI. Only reason there are two HDMI ports is for those that don't have a 1.4 HDMI receiver to pass 3D to the TV. So the HDMI would go to the TV to pass the 3D and the other HDMI goes to receiver for audio.
