I'm glad I'm watching this, so, much of the reruns from local affiliates and maybe even TVland cut some footage for more commercials.

Surprisingly, Burghoff was nothing like Radar. He was not well liked by the cast.

Hard to believe.... if Star Trek TOS taught us anything is that it's tough to be a prick and act nice somewhere else !

I also nominate Peaky Blinders. Only 2 episodes in, but if you're into mob vs. cops and early 1900's period pieces, this is for you. The production value is immediately noticeable in the first episode.... and it has Sam Neill.

Very underrated series. Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, and Sam Neil...nuff said. Can't wait for season 3.

I was just coming I'm here to post about Peaky Blinders. My buddy had been bugging me to watch it, I finally gave in and I was blown away. Great series.

I think the music and the video production draw you in. My only gripe at this point with 2 episodes to go in season 2 is.....

                    (not a plot spoiler)

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix

After years of service, I finally cancelled my Netflix.

I'm getting so much more from Amazon Prime right now. All of the shows I'm currently catching up with are there.

                      It's been a wasted $9 for months, now. I also cancelled Hulu+

Well, AP's selection did suck for quite some time in regards to selection. Plus, they were charging on top of the annual membership, but it looks like they wised up.

Netflix Originals are going to be hard to beat, however, especially with the Marvel series coming in.

I don't know if Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage are sure fire hits though.

Well of course not, they haven't aired yet. But the Marvel brand has generally delivered and, regardless, people will want to check them out. But my point was that Netflix originals are usually well done and doing well.

Regardless, this is a "what's good on Netflix" thread. For someone to come in here to talk about another service and how they've been wasting their money on Netflix doesn't fit.

I was just talking about the B group of Marvel heroes versus the A guys like Captain America and Ironman, even though Daredevil is probably a B+.

Your point is right, and it's not like they don't offer more than the originals. For a TV watcher like me it's well worth $7.99 a month.

Noticed that Grounded for Life popped up in my "Things you might be interested in" bit on Netflix. I use to watch reruns of the show on ABC Family. Solid sitcom, guy who plays the dad is great..
