That's why I signed up for Hulu. If we weren't sharing Netflix with the in-laws it would have been axed by now.

I’m confident that I might cut out Netflix for Disney+’s Hulu add-on.

Is that the ad free Hulu? Not really worth it to me if it isn't.

I watched it and thought it was his weakest Netflix special yet. Didn't really build up steam for me until the final 20-30 min. I wish he'd cut the LGBTQ stuff back a bit--it's his weakest material. Chappelle is always at his best when he's invoking babies selling [redacted] on the corner at 3 AM and such for the majority of the show and then getting into something a little more profound for the last joke.

I enjoyed all of his other Netflix specials, so to each their own. I'd recommend Equanimity & The Bird Revelation, Deep in the Heart of Texas, or The Age of Spin over this latest one, Sticks and Stones. Of course, his pre-Netflix 2000 and 2004 specials are must watch.

Like a bunch of other guys I just started Mindhunter last week (already through season 1). I had seen the first episode awhile ago....my guess is Netflix recommended it after I finished Dexter but I don't remember when....but I just didn't get hooked. Gave it another shot and I'm glad I did. It has a much different feeling than other Netflix originals that I've seen. The conflicts that the characters go through not only have a purpose in the plot but also seem really believable which I think is sometimes lacking in their other shows.

I thought this special was just as funny as the others.

I was cracking up when he was making fun of the crowd, mainly because it’s 100% truth, lol.

Now if I had to rank this among his other stand ups, then it’s not even in my Top 5. But that’s also because his earlier stuff was amazing.

And the backlash he got from it has pretty much proved his point. Any comedian with an original thought in their head should know that cancel culture and politicial correctness are not their friend.

I’ve been enjoying reading the outrage about this for the past hour.

The **** I’ve been reading has been simply amazing.

Dave Chappelle , the man is a comic genius , love this guy. Yes this is not his best special but still hilarious.

Got around to that new Chappelle. Felt like a throwback at times in his delivery, he was going in on everyone.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix

Netflix is having weekly releases for 2 shows but they say that's it.

Disney+ is doing the weekly releases with their shows.

Which would people prefer? Weekly episodes or all at once? Sure, if it's all at once, you can still watch weekly if you want, but for those who want to talk about it with others, it makes it harder. And obviously more prone to spoilers.

I wouldn't mind weekly updates moving forward. As addicting and tempting as binge watching is, I like to space out shows. Give me time to absorb what happened, and in some cases, speculate on what might happen next, rather than just finding out 10 minutes later or something in next episode.

If weekly might be too much, what about daily? Monday to Friday releases, one episode a day.

The big thing I am wondering is with it being weekly like normal tv will they also have a long midseason break? That is what I really hate about normal tv is how shows have a midseason break and then you got to wait like a month and a half for the second half of the season to start. I hope Disney + dont do that. I do like the idea of ever thing comming out at once but I also dont watch a lot of tv shows. Most the time I am watching tv I am watching sports and I still like to watch older shows. I fill like tv has went down hill big time over the last 20 years or so.

Rather have them release the season all at once. Now addicted to binge watching.
