Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms
idunno Landman has been kinda disappointing to me
there's a formula that reminds me of the Walking Dead
there's an issue with the ex wife and the daughter that reminds me of Rescue Me
The dialogue is kinda meh. The writing in general is like "play the hits" with famous faces and it'll work.
I mean, it's a watchable show, but eh, going through the motions and hitting the notes, it's just doing a thingWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

The Pitt has been impressive so far for us and await each Thursday to see what happens in the next hour of this crew's shift. Nice seeing Noah Wyle; I would have wagered that he would have been a top-tier actor from his work on ER.Comment

We finished Landman. Everything except his wife and daughter is great. Done get me wrong….they are outstanding to look at…..and it ends there.
Overall Billy Bob is great as are the rest of the characters. Will be interesting to see where it goes in season 2.
We also caught The Search For Truth Pan Am Flight 103 Lockerbee on Peacock.
Colin Firth again knocks it outta the park. This was really good. It’s a fast watch (5 episodes I believe).
Squid Game 2 was great. Liked season one more but this was really high quality again.
Moving on to Black Dove. Now Playing on PS5:

Beast Games on Amazon has been awesome. I don’t really watch reality game shows much but this has been a very compelling season.
Some wild stuff has happened up to this point.

Finished up American Primeval, really liked it. Small enough to binge watch.
My only real issues with it areSpoilerthe main female character can be grating for the first chunk of the series. That and the ending left a lot to be desired and after a whole show of it being the mother and son's motivation they just drop it.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms
Watched a few old cartoons/anime.
I watched the Animated Batman and Batman Beyond series. I definitely like the Batman series over Batman Beyond. I liked Beyond, but didn't feel like it had the highes that the Batman series did. Plus it being canceled so they could focus on the Justice League series. Felt like there was a lot more they could've dove into. There has been rumors that Rocksteady is developing a Single player Batman Beyond game. I would be interested in that since it'd be more futuristic.
I watched the Dragon Ball Z series after watching the Dragon Ball series a year ago. I enjoyed it. Only watched parts here and there as a child, so I wanted to watch the whole thing.
Probably might watch the Justice League series after finishing The Batman Caped Crusader seriesComment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms
Batman Caped Crusader was okay. I still prefer Batman:Animated series over the Caped Crusader. I don't mind some of the creative differences they made. My issue is just that it's only 10 episodes. If it's only 23-25 minutes long per episode, than it should've be the old 22-26 episode season. I wouldn't have minded 10 episodes if it was 45-50 minute episodesComment

Now you have Dragonball Super and whatever the other newer one is. Not really a fan of either of those two (mainly because of Goku). The originals are classics though.

Good memories watching Batman Beyond. The setting just seemed very unique versus some of those other superhero shows (granted I loved those others too). I always wished that we would get a Batman Beyond movie franchise instead of a reboot of Batman every few years. A Batman Beyond game would definitely be up my alley.

Honesly, I'm not really interested in watching past Dragon Ball Z. Not really interested in Super or GT. After Kid Boo battle, there's 5 or 6 episodes left in the series where it sets up both Super and GT. But, I didn't really care for the 10 year jump. They could've just ended it after the Boo battle. But, I probably will watch some of the Dragon Ball and DBZ movies Crunchyroll hasComment
