Yeah I didn't catch that either. I wonder if that means that all of those heads were of people he has known/capturedComment

I was wrong then (about the daughter). Hrmmm. It's difficult to tell if his wife was in there given the fact that I don't know how drastically someone's facial features can change between the infection taking over and rotting decay.Comment

They would have focused on it if it were the case. Kinda spoiling things IMO.Last edited by kingkilla56; 10-29-2012, 07:09 PM.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I agree. Can we all agree to not talk about the comics in regards to the show? I have not read the comics, but it seems like 2 different story lines that are somewhat similar in some parts.
But when people come in here to say that Part A was not like the comic books, because Part B happened in the comics instead of Part A, it really spoils the rest of the show for all of us.
Maybe we need a Walking Dead Comics threads for those that want to talk about the comic book.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I don't see the issue with the weapons. Michonne is walking around not trusting the people that took her in and the first thing she demands is her weapon. I wouldn't give her a weapon either. Why does she need it?The fear is for outsiders coming in like Andrea and Michonne. This guy is insane as he showed by decapitating the living pilot and lying about demolishing the soldier camp. And Merle is part of his team, that as far as Im concerned is enough to be afraid of. As a character in the show I can see why Andrea is excited but as an audience member Michonne is right on point in her skepticism. No matter how much she demands they still wouldnt give her her weapons.
In all honestly, as the governor of a town, why does Michonne need a weapon? What she should do is ask for her weapon so she can defend the wall with the rest of them. Since she doesn't offer any solid reason for a weapon, the governor can only assume she means to use it to kill him.
Realistically speaking, Michonne has no reason to act the way she's acting."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Agree, not to mention the fact some may want to read the comics but haven't got around to it yet and spoilers for the comics are all over the place, most have been tagged but enough are slipping through the cracks.I agree. Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I remember seeing that thread.. but I think people get so excited watching the episodes they get caught up talking all about it in here.
I don't mind when someone says that a particular scene is not the same in the comics, but when they go into detail, whether in spoiler tags or not, it still spoils the show for the rest of us.
Before this season I already knew that the Governor was going to be really evil because of the conversation on the Season 2 thread comparing the comics to the show.
But it really spoils the show for me when I read someone post "If this scene or person is as bad as it was in the comics..." Cause then you know exactly what they're talking about..Comment
