Notable to me:

Johnny Galecki getting a nom for best TV Comedy actor while his Big Bang costar Jim Parsons did not. Equally surprising was Matt LeBlanc winning the award for "Episodes".

Idris Elba winning Best Actor, Mini Series, Series or Movie made for TV for "Luthor".

Good to see "Modern Family" win again.

Kelsey Grammer winning for "Boss"

George Clooney winning again.

Meryl Streep winning her 8th Globe out of 26 nominations.

I only had 2 interests in this:

1) Watch all of the Ricky Gervais moments afterwards on Youtube (b/c honestly, the rest is just a mutual *** kissing contest)

2) See that Cranston won best actor, which he didn't. Now I'll need to see a few episodes of "Boss" to see why. But the bar is pretty high in my mind. This'll have to be a pretty amazing performance by Kelsey Grammer.

Otherwise, I don't waste my time with these award shows.

Ricky is outrageous and hilarious. The #1 comedian in Britain (source RG) doesn't care what he says.

This is something I'll look into. I just noticed the high 85% RT score and the trailer.

It didn't get a lot of attention and was pretty dismal at the box office.

I think the movie is misnamed. I would have called it something like "Ghost of a Chance" or something like that. Ghost Town makes it sound like a horror or horror spoof movie. Anyway.... solid cast and performance. The scene between Gervais, Leoni and Leoni's fiancee in her apartment is hilarious.
