That's the thing though. Winning survivor shouldn't be just about getting in good with a jury.

What would you say if Christina ended up winning this season over Kim and Chelsea, just cause the jury liked Christina more? Do you think she'd actually deserve to win?

Survivors "Outwit,outlast,outplay" motto is basically useless when it comes to the jury.

Get good with the jury is part of the strategy!! How many times we seen people get brought to the finals just everyons knows he's not getting any votes. See Philiip from last season..

absolutely that's a great strategy but I'm all out on people getting votes simply because the jury doesn't like someone.

Who's fault is it that the jury doesn't like them though? I truly believe that Russell was one of the worst social players in Survivor history. If he had an inkling of a be tactful he would be a two time champion. Instead he's nothing more than an entertaining player to watch for us fans. That's not the jury's fault, it's his.

I guess with Russell I love that he would bring AWFUL players with him that did nothing to win. If either of the people in his final 3 deserved it I would understand but he would strategically bring dead weight

Social game wasn't that great, but what was Natalies reason to win(other than that the jury didn't like russell), she didn't do anything either. Russells social game sucked, but hers didn't even exist.

If even Jeff Probst says that the jury voted AGAINST Russell(meaning they didn't vote for some to win,they voted for Russell to lose), then that proves how bad the jury was.

Looks like Kim is the person to beat this season. She has dominated.

He's pulling the Phillip card. Make himself seem so crazy, so people will be forced to take him to the end.

He knows he's not winning the game, but even the 3rd place prize money is good enough(It's like $25,000 or something isnt it?) which is another reason why the final 3 sucks. People won't even care about winning, just making it to final 3 is good enough. Final 2 means you have 50% shot of winning, so even if you know you might not win the game, you have to try harder to make it to the end

I imagine much like Philip if he was in the top 3 he would answer all the questions so poorly that no one could justify voting for him to win

Tarzan is definitely turning into a dark horse for me. Like Pete said, there's a lot of dudes on the jury and the women left are going to feel backstabbed by at least one of the finalist. Plus, in my opinion, Tarzan is already playing it up for the jury. That whole bit about him not being upset with Kat's decision to take Alicia and Kim with her on the reward, when everyone else was "attacking" her was an attempt to grab Kat's vote.

If he makes it to the Final 3 he's going to say that he had to play the "I'm not threat" card in order to survive on an island full of women. Of course, the women will say they carried him, but if Kim isn't in the final three, then he has a good of a chance as anybody.

Sabrina, Tarzan and Christina would be in to blindside Kim. I just don't know that they could sway Chelsea or Alicia since they would then move to the chopping block of that final 5.

Next week is a big one. Kim will win if she survives next week. The numbers just don't work out for a blindside after this

I was going to multi quote a bunch of you guys but instead here goes:

I'm pretty sure that in a 3-5 second clip of Tarzan's dialog in the "Scenes from the Next", etc made it pretty obvious that he's been implementing a "Village Idiot" strategy to get dragged to the final three...

Am I correct with that?

I'd love to see Kim and Chelsea drag him in front of the jury where he "flips the script", goes all "normal" and the guys gang up and blindside those two females...just for spite...

THAT would be awesome...

Lastly:

The Kat blindside was awesome...she is one clueless, arrogant young person...

Even my 83 year old mother was insulted by throwing her generation under the bus with the constant "But I'm only 22" crap...

Oh, and I truly doubt that she's aware of the social stigma attached to being THAT "attached" to her (country) "cousin"...
