First wednesday without survivor! There was basically nothing else to watch on tv too. Now I'm happy survivor was on wednesdays, cause if it wasn't. There'd be nothing to watch on wednesdays all year long.

- Feeling tired right now so I'm not going to have a super long post but after letting the whole season sink in, I feel like Kim should be considered either the best player or 2nd best player of all-time. While I know there have been other players that got all the jury votes (JT and Earl), I feel like nobody was as dominant as Kim. She was never in danger of being voted out (not even when Troyzan tried to rally the people at the bottom). She played the game the way I would play it. Her game was perfect in every way. I know Kim said she made a mistake by not picking Kat during a reward challenge, but I didn't feel like it was a big deal. I also don't buy the argument of how Kim isn't a great player because her cast was full of idiots. If you're going to make that argument, I could make an argument for every winner and how they weren't really a great player.

- I'm a little disturbed by Probst's comments about how there wasn't that many great characters this season. Years from now I will still remember people like Kim, Kat, Tarzan, Troyzan, Chelsea, Colton, and Jonas. I really enjoyed this season because it was a brand new cast. I hate seeing returning players unless the whole cast is made up of returning players.

- Season 25 was the perfect season to have All-Stars 3. While I don't dislike Penner, Swan, or Skupin, I wish Probst/CBS would stop going back to casting returning players.

- 24 seasons in and I still don't have Survivor fatigue. I've been a viewer since the first episode and I don't ever see myself getting off the train.

The thing about Jeffs comments that I hate, are how he seems to like Colton.

Some are like "if colton didn't get taken out,this game would be way diff". Sure, it would have. But same could be said about EVERYTHING. If Russell didn't find(or play) his idol, he might not have ever been a Survivor icon. If there weren't 2 Robs on the same season, we'd never call him "Boston Rob". And the list goes on and on.

Did Jeff not realize how fans hated Colton, even at the reunion. CBS is so desperate to get people to like him, they had to get a real known CBS star to praise him on tv(and spend a quarter of the reunion show talking about him).

I don't see Kim as the greatest(or 2nd greatest) Survivor player in history like you said she is. But definitely top 10 for sure. It's hard to compare players when some played 1 time, others played 2-3 times. Compare Parv-Kim. Parv did way more things, but she's also spent 100+ days in the game. In terms of 1 time players, Kim would be top 5(next to Earl,Yul).

I really wanna see a Survivor Winners edition. Bring back as much people as possible(not sandra or natalie!My 2 least fave winners in survivor history!). Especially since many survivor winners have never come back at all(maybe too successful for Survivor lol)

Colton ISN'T gonna be on S25 which is great(if only Survivor advertised that he won't be there,cause many people already have negative attitudes towards S25 cause they think Colton is gonna be in that season), he won't be on S26 either(filming is starting around now I believe, and he's still on twitter), but after that, who knows. Some might hope that he matures by time S27 filming starts(this time next year), but after seeing him at the reunion, I really doubt it.

And like you said, her first season wasn't even great(or memorable) at all. That's why I said it's hard to compare players who've played multiple seasons vs players who've played only 1 season. Cause multiple seasons gives you way more chances to do more things(Parv had over 100 days to do big moves). And playing a 2nd/3rd time around(especially after seeing how your previous game looked on tv), is way more comforting/relaxed.

Though I really doubt it's gonna win since it's nominated against shows like Idol,XFactor,The Voice. And those shows are watched by more people 13-19(age requirement to vote) than Survivor is. So more of those people will prob end up voting for those other shows.

- You have to admit Parv was awesome in HvV. I thought she deserved to win. She had the target on her back since Day 1 and made it all the way to the end. I'll ever forget the time she pulled out 2 HII during Tribal.

- Yul never had to use the Idol because it was too powerful to being with. In his season, the Idol could be played after the votes were read. Everybody knew he had it so they never voted for him.

- I thought Earl was boring in every single way (interacting with the other players, confessionals, etc....). I can admit he's a good player but not much of a Survivor "character".

You don't have to be a good character to be a good winner, just like you don't have to be a good winner to be a good character.

Earls game might have seemed boring, but if you rewatch the season and see the stuff he did, he's easily one of the smartest players in survivor.

Unless we get a winners season we will probably never see Earl play again. He has never been asked back because the execs and most fans thought he was boring. Unless you are a hardcore fan you probably wouldnt even remember him.

You are right, he was asked back. I do think 5 years is a long time ago for the majority of viewers. Most of the viewers aren't like you and I. Heck I could probably name all of the winners right now without any help.
