          Best dinner party ever, haha.

Ken is awesome, though I think Peggy ratted him out and not Pete. At least that's the vibe I got. Maybe its just me, but this seaons has seemed to revolve around sitcom type of situations (dinner party, an actual office boxing match), but does it in ways that doesn't undermine the show and actually bolsters it and the dark humor. I feel like if you're laughing at the horrible things that are happening, you've probably watched the show since the early days and if you don't understand why they're laughing, you're a newbie.

I think that was the best Mad Men episode ever. Just...amazing.

What was up with Don saying he grew up in a whorehouse? Yes, his mother was a prostitute but she died in childbirth. He grew up on a farm.

That confused me as well. Maybe there's some part of the timeline that we're missing.

On an unrelated note, I loved Pete bragging about his "Wilt Chamberlain" sized stereo, when in today's world it's all about small and thin.

Lane: We have time. The first half of a football match is just flirting...

Mrs. Baker: Now I want both of you to make a pledge that this is the end of football for some time.
Edwin: We beat the bloody Jerries for the World Cup, darling! That is the end of football....

Lane: Excuse me, gentlemen, if I may, I have a bit of new business.

                  Pete: Taking leave again?

Lane: Not at all. I don’t know if you are aware, but England won the World Cup!

                  Roger: Cup of what?

                  Love it.

My favorite one as well. Pete's lowness sinking to new depths with Mr. Handsome's easy handling of his would be girl.

I took "grew up in" to mean "came of age in" or "spent a lot of my youth in"...etc...

Cooper bossing it up at the end!

I didn't think it was as good as last week's but the LSD story was funny. I'm thinking Don's honeymoon phase will start to slow down.
