    Crackle on Xbox 360

    Wasn't sure to put this in the Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III thread or in the Console/Portable Talk section so I ended up putting it in this section and made a new thread.

    Have any of you downloaded the Crackle app on the 360? I wanted to see what these free episodes of The Ropes were about so I downloaded Crackle.

    Was wondering if anyone else has watched it and their thoughts on it. I think it's pretty good.

    Now about Crackle itself, the shows and movies they have available are nowhere near what Netflix has to offer but the thing is, it's free and so are all the shows & movies available (unless I'm missing something).

    I don't know if this is just a promo thing or if it'll stay this way indefinitely but I saw a few things on there definitely worth watching.

    If someone made a similar thread I apologize or if I put this in the wrong place, just move it please.

          With a severely limited lost of available shows and movies. I have it, the app also, never watch it.

              Yes, it is very limited. But since it's free it doesn't hurt to try it out, I've only watched that Ropes show on it so far. got me into it enough to watch the first three episodes.

              I'm just wondering if they expand their choices will they start charging, if they do I probably won't use it but for now you can't beat free.

                  It doesn't appear to be in high def either. Still I had to watch a few episodes of All in the Family. That show would never see the light of day on a network now.

                      Absolutely hate this app. Watching Reign Over Me, great movie btw. But there's commercials during the damn movie! Seriously?! I turned it off half way through a couple days ago. Turn it on today and it starts at the beginning. Doesn't even resume playing from where I stopped it.

                          Didn't know about the ads or the not resuming thing. Only thing I've watched so far is the Ropes series and I didn't get any ads.

                              I'm getting them after every 20 minutes or so. Like the 15 second Hulu ads.

                                  You must be out of your mind. The bars that are crossed now by many different shows far exceeds what that show did. If anything, Family Guy is the cartoon version, of sorts, of All In The Family, and then some. In fact, the opening ditty mimics AITF.

                                  Great show...was way ahead of its' time.

                                  And as far as Crackle, it's not what it used to be by far.

                                      I use crackle to watch Anime like Fist of the North star, I prefer it on PS3 Home tho when u walk in the theater and sit down and watch the shows on a big screen..
