Did a little research....Spoiler is Season 3 related, it is also speculative so read at your own peril. Guys that have read book 3 should be okay though.

Apparently George Martin wrote the 7th episode of season 3. It is titled "Autumn Storms". I can't help but believe that is the episode in which we will see the Red Wedding.

Well, Martin seems to not agree with you about that. From his blog.

Haven't followed anything outside of the show, but my takeaway was that the door she opened tried to tempt her into becoming lost in the house of the undying, first by showing her what she wants (the iron throne) and also what she lost (husband and child). She's able to fight it and ultimate find her dragons and see the place for what it was.

Huh, from his own blog he stated he is writing the 7th episode and gave the title. You said you don't think he would right another episode and thought it would be 9 or 10.

Oh man, I'm really looking forward to the Red Wedding. After reading it, it made me put the book down for a week or so in disbelief. Also, the last episode will definitely not be the Red Wedding since the biggest reveal is at the end of the book

Yeah I think it's episode 7. The title is fitting, given the entire trip to the twins was in a downpour it seems.

Oh haha, no I was saying that I don't think that RW will be episode 7, and therefore he didn't write the RW episode.

I didn't know there were different kinds. I thought they were all just known as White Walkers.

I really want to see these guys in action in season 3. And for Theon to give another great speech.

I'd say that's pretty much it. They go into a lot more detail in the book regarding her visit to that place. I can't say I remember reading about her being put into chains at the end but it's been a year and thousands of pages ago since I read about that part.

on topic: I thought that season 3 would be separated into 2 season, is that not the case anymore? I know in europe the book came out in 2 installments so it makes sense somewhat, the RW being the season finale in my mind hearing that.

Yes, it will be two seasons, but I am about 90% sure RW is gonna be episode 7. That is the episode that Martin is writing.

Yes, ASOS is about two seasons with season 3 being "roughly" the first half.

I know we've discussed this before, but I'm confident that Martin has no interesting in revisiting the RW, and episode 7 seems like a massive stretch. Even episode 9 or 10 (which is were I'm sure it will happen) stretches some of the characters arcs, as the event happens almost exactly two-thirds of the way through the book.

Anyone who hasn't read the books, don't get curious and search for RW. It would be the spoiler to end all spoilers.
