Yeah it's your PSU that is the culprit here. You need at minimum, 500W. You're gonna have to upgrade that bad boy. I'd go for 600W.

You should be fine to put the old card back in and reinstall the drivers.

It will be hard to get one that isn't compatible. Just make sure it's over 500W.

If you're ordering it online, this should be more than fine. If you're getting it from a brick and mortar, you'll have to talk to the people in the department and hope they have a good selection to choose from and not charging an arm and a leg.

Also only reason is that when I turned my CPU it gave me a message saying about it had to shut off my CPU due to a heating error. Haven't had the problem since I opened the side of my case and started putting my CPU in safe mode while not in use.

Is that the case you ended up getting? If you haven't yet, I would remove the air duct and replace it with an actual fan so it can pull out the heat as it's coming off of the CPU.

It's just flat low profile cables. That's a good PSU Dre. I had the same one, had no issues with it what soever.

Just jumped on a 120GB SSD for $89.99 on Newegg. Probably the last thing I'll get until I'm working again.

If that is the case you got, then it's the big black tube attached to the side door (I am basing this off of pictures on Newegg). If there is nothing there and it's just a vent, then just throw a fan on there.

I would also dump the fan in the back and replace it with a 120mm.

That looks like the best value.
